Integrating research and development, production, and sales, NaTRIUM Energy has developed a product portfolio encompassing layered oxide cathode materials, polyanionic cathode materials, Prussian blue cathode materials, sodium-ion battery electrolytes, functional additives, and more. Guided by user needs, it provides a series of solutions for global sodium-ion battery manufacturers tailored to end-use applications such as micro-electric vehicles, start-stop power supplies, special electric vehicles, and energy storage systems, covering cathode materials, electrolytes, electrochemical design of cell materials, and end-use application design.
NaTRIUM Energy emphasizes technological innovation and the development of new quality productive forces. It has facilitated the establishment of the "Shaoxing Research Institute of New Energy and Molecular Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University," co-founded the "Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center for Sodium-Ion Battery Technology," and set up a postdoctoral workstation at the enterprise level in Zhejiang Province. The company has been recognized as a Zhejiang Science and Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprise, an Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise in Zhejiang, a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" Enterprise in Zhejiang, a Zhejiang Science and Technology Rising Star Enterprise, the R&D Center for Sodium-Ion Battery High-Tech Enterprises of NaTRIUM Energy in Zhejiang, and a National High-Tech Enterprise. Its project, "Key Technologies for Integrated Green Manufacturing and Application of Sodium-Ion Battery Cathode Materials," won the First Prize for Technological Invention from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in 2023. With a robust global patent portfolio, the company holds over 50 invention patents in the United States and China and has received more than 50 honors.
In May 2025, the "Key Technologies for Multi-functional Electrolytes and Their Applications in Sodium-Ion Batteries" passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. The appraisal committee concluded that the achievement features a comprehensive technological system, advanced indicators, strong applicability, and remarkable results, providing crucial support for the autonomous control and sustainable development of China's sodium-ion battery industry and achieving an overall international leading level.
NaTRIUM Energy takes it as its mission to build an industrial ecosystem, with a focus on the construction of industrial parks. The project "Annual Production of 40,000 Tons of Cathode Materials and Electrolytes for Sodium-Ion Batteries" has been selected as a major project in Zhejiang Province and a project under the Mountain-Sea Cooperation Program. It was also honored as the leading enterprise in the sodium-ion battery sector for "strengthening strengths and filling gaps in the supply chain" at the national level in 2024.
